Alka Kapur & Plantpure

Image
Alka was working full time till she had her son in 1991. She decided to take a sabbatical to be able to spend as much as possible with her baby. Alka always believed in natural products. She strongly felt that long term use of products containing chemicals could prove to be harmful in the long run. Tanvi Singhal & Little Explorers by Tanvi

Tanvi began exploring DIY activities and sensory play when her son was 2.5 years old (he is 6.5 now). She started blogging on Instagram and lot of her mom friends asked her to start doing activities with their kids as well. So, Tanvi began taking sensory play classes for children. The classes became a big hit and Tanvi started posting on Instagram regularly. Her first business experience was going to her father's office, supporting him and learning about the various nuances of business. The aspect of business which fascinated Deepti the most was public dealing. Marriage and motherhood took precedence and when her daughter started growing up, Deepti decided it was time to venture into a business again. A chance introduction to an American air filtration company, led to the starting of RePure. Deepti’s father-in-law suffered from bronchitis, and once he used their product for six months, he felt a remarkable improvement in his breathing. This spurred Deepti and her family to venture into this business; relatively new but with a solid product offering. Deepti took over the responsibility of retail ...
