Deepti was born in a business family, resulting in being exposed to business discussions throughout her growing up years; something which fascinated her from the beginning. Her first business experience was going to her father's office, supporting him and learning about the various nuances of business. The aspect of business which fascinated Deepti the most was public dealing. Marriage and motherhood took precedence and when her daughter started growing up, Deepti decided it was time to venture into a business again.

A chance introduction to an American air filtration company, led to the starting of RePure. Deepti’s father-in-law suffered from bronchitis, and once he used their product for six months, he felt a remarkable improvement in his breathing. This spurred Deepti and her family to venture into this business; relatively new but with a solid product offering. Deepti took over the responsibility of retail sales.

The Covid pandemic and subsequent lockdowns proved to be one of the main challenges Deepti faced. Having started in late 2019, the business had barely gone off the ground when their biggest clients in the hospitality sector were hit by the pandemic. Working from home alongside online schooling also impacted the time Deepti was able to devote to the business. Gradually with things opening up, Deepti got back into marketing RePure. The idea behind the name is simple- a global wellness technology brand working towards human well-being; giving people the opportunity to breathe pure air and drink pure water.

Today RePure offers an award-winning, state-of-the-art Disinfecting Filtration System (DFS), developed with the United States Government. All of their purifiers are powered by this germicidal technology, which goes beyond traditional filtration methods to trap airborne pathogens down to the smallest microbial bacteria’s and viruses operating at an efficiency of 99.99% down to a size of 0.007 microns. With India’s pollution levels on the rise, Deepti realises that there is a huge market for such a product.

Deepti loves talking and meeting new people. She is also a big music and movies buff. Once in a while she enjoys adventurous activities like rafting, biking and hiking.

                     Anu had always been inclined towards sketching, drawing and painting since her childhood while her mother was inclined towards clothes and fashion. So, it was no surprise when Anu ended up taking fashion design as a subject in 11 th grade. Anu always had a lot of questions in her mind. What was she here? What was the purpose of her life?                       From the time she completed her fashion course at Parsons, Chitwan knew that designer clothing was the line she wanted to get into. She started with womenswear in 2011 and then ventured into menswear in 2016. Whenever Chitwan visited the fabric markets for men’s fabrics, she would find herself staring at the cute kids’ fabrics and would wish that she could do something in that line. She would pick up fabrics for her son’s nightwear and shirts and they turned out really well; every time he wore them, her family would encourage her to consider venturing into this as a side business and gauge the response. Chitwan began small in 2020 and then there was no looking back. This isn’t a side business anymore. Chitwan is extremely passionate about it and doing kids' wear in particular makes her extremely happy. Moreover, she has discovered a staunch support system in the form of her mommy clients. It helps that Chitwan considers entrepreneurship to be in her blood.
